How It Started
Lone Oak Adventures started the way most great things do — with a handshake and a shared love of the outdoors. Jimbo grew up hunting the Texas Hill Country with his father and grandfather, learning the land one season at a time.
Over the years, Jimbo assembled a team of like-minded guides and expanded the operation to cover thousands of acres of prime Hill Country ranchland. The mission never changed: deliver the kind of hunt that makes people put down their phones, breathe in the cedar-scented air, and remember why they fell in love with the outdoors in the first place.
Today, Lone Oak Adventures hosts hunters from across the country for white tail deer, turkey, exotics, and migratory birds. We're proud of our reputation — and we earn it one hunt at a time.

What We Stand For
We manage our ranches for long-term health — sustainable harvest practices, habitat improvement, and wildlife management that keeps the land productive for generations.
We pass on young bucks and let animals mature. The result is a property that consistently produces trophy-class animals year after year.
We keep our groups small by design. Every hunter gets personal attention, the best stands, and the best chance at success.
Our guides have hunted this land for decades. They know every draw, every sendero, and every pattern the animals follow through the seasons.

Why Lone Oak
"We don't just put you on a stand and wish you luck. We hunt with you, call for you, and celebrate with you when you connect. That's the Lone Oak difference."
